September? Already?!

I can't believe how fast time is flying! It seems like it was just a couple of days ago that AnimeFEST was over >_>

Surprisingly enough though, my motivation for working on costumes has returned ... now that I don't have any deadlines, lol. Maybe that's my problem, maybe I just can't handle the pressure, lol. But at the same time, I also work very well under extreme pressure, so I have no idea XD

I've worked some more on Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, and actually plan to do more to her tonight. I'm hoping to get her skirt completely done and will try to get a progress pic up soon =3

I also started on another costume, but I haven't said what it is yet It's not a secret costume or anything, I'm just waiting til I can post up my first progress pic to see if anyone can guess what it is, haha.

Over Labor Day weekend I did some shopping and actually bought a new band saw! Which means I can get back to work on Eva's scythe, and after that I can bust out the other props that I'll be needing for next year, which is super exciting! I haven't had a chance to play around with anything yet, if for no other reason than it's just been too HOT outside @_@ I'm really hoping it'll start cooling down this month though, so I can get to work! >

And now I'm gonna upload another pic, then jump off here so I can start working on Aurora's skirt. If everything goes well, I should be done with it tonight =3 Ttyl!
